The company Faianças Ideal is a Portuguese ceramic company, founded in 1979, which produces more than 10,000 pieces daily mainly for export (95%).
Benefits of the Project
- solar energy with a power of 178 kWp
- estimated production of 293.1 MWh/year
- reduction of about 54 tonnes of CO2/year
Provided Services
SOLVasto was responsible for developing the project, engineering and securing a third-party entity that invested in this project in a UPP (feed-in-tariff), in the manufacturing facilities of Faianças Ideal, located in Vale de Ourém (Batalha).
The installation consists of 672 polycrystalline modules, which are ground mounted and facade, using Huawei’s inverters. The unit has an estimated production capacity of 293.1 MWh/year, enough energy to supply the electricity consumed annually by more than 70 houses, representing a reduction of about 54 tonnes of CO2/year (about 1,350 tonnes of CO2 in the 25 years of the project’s lifespan). This reduction in emissions is equivalent to the annual capture of a forest area of 2.6 ha.
