
Taguspark is the largest and most innovative science and technology park in Portugal. It was created by government initiative in 1992 and is the main component of an integrated plan involving some 360 hectares, 150 of which are occupied by the Park.

Services provided
SOLVasto developed the project in cooperation with Energia Independente (Galp’s company dedicated to solar energy production) of a photovoltaic plant for self-consumption, estimating that close to 97% of the energy produced is self-consumed, avoiding its purchase from the grid. The installation consists of 1,566 solar panels from the technology company LG on seven buildings in the Taguspark Innovation and Technology Business Center, with a total installation power of over 700 kWp.
