SOLVasto was responsible for developing the project, engineering and securing a third-party entity that invested in this project in a UPP (feed-in-tariff), in the manufacturing facilities of Faianças Ideal, located in Vale de Ourém (Batalha).
The installation consists of 672 polycrystalline modules, which are ground mounted and facade, using Huawei’s inverters. The unit has an estimated production capacity of 293.1 MWh/year, enough energy to supply the electricity consumed annually by more than 70 houses, representing a reduction of about 54 tonnes of CO2/year (about 1,350 tonnes of CO2 in the 25 years of the project’s lifespan). This reduction in emissions is equivalent to the annual capture of a forest area of 2.6 ha.

Project Natstone I 327 kWp
Natstone is a Portuguese family company with more than 60 years of history. It supplies tailor-made designs of natural stones, exporting more than 89% of its production.
Benefits of the Project
- solar power with 327 kWp
- estimated production of 533.4 MWh/year
- reduction of about 100 tonnes of CO2/year
Provided Services
SOLVasto was entrusted with the integral development of the project, which involved all the engineering, as well as the acquisition of a third-party entity that invested in this UPP (feedin-tariff) project, in Natstone’s manufacturing facilities, located in Rio Maior.
The installation consists of 1,232 polycrystalline modules, which are installed on the roof of the factory, having been used Huawei’s inverters.
The unit was completed in the last quarter of 2017 and was connected to the grid in January 2018. It has an estimated production capacity of 533.4 MWh/year, enough energy to supply the electricity consumed annually by more than 130 houses, representing a reduction of about 100 tons of CO2/year (about 2,500 tons of CO2 in the 25 years of useful lifespan). This reduction in emissions is equivalent to the annual capture of a forest area of 4.8 ha.

Project Pescacerta I 92 kWp
Pescacerta is a family company founded in 2011 that sells frozen products, so it has a constant electricity consumption during 365 days/year.
Benefits of the Project
- solar power with 92 kWp
- estimated self-consumption of 140.2 MWh/an
- reduction of about 26 tonnes of CO2/year
Provided Services
SOLVasto has designed and installed a turnkey solar power plant in the Massamá plant, where it is estimated that almost 100% of the energy produced (140.2 MWh/year) will be self-consumed, reducing the their grid electricity consumption by 18%.
The installation consists of 345 Jinkosolar photovoltaic modules, installed on the roof and south facade, using Huawei inverters.
The 140.2 MWh/year of electricity produced and consumed by the Pescacerta unit is sufficient to supply the electricity consumed annually by about 35 houses, representing a reduction of about 26 tons of CO2/year (about 645 tons of CO2 in the 25 years of project lifespan). This reduction in emissions is equivalent to the annual capture of an area of 1.3 ha of forest.
The facility produced by the end of August 2019 about 196 MWh and avoided about 19.8 Ton of Co2 for the atmosphere.

The Cooperativa Agrícola dos Produtores de Azeite de Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo (Tavira), supports its members in the production of olive oil and other local products, which can be purchased in their store.
Benefits of the Project
- solar power with 69 kWp
- estimated production of 122.3 MWh/year
- reduction of about 23 tonnes of CO2/year
Provided Services
SOLVasto has designed and installed a turnkey photovoltaic power plant in UPAC (self-consumption) mode, and it is estimated that almost 100% of the energy produced (122.3 MWh/year) is self-consumed, avoiding its purchase from the grid.
The installation consists of 260 Jinkosolar polycrystalline modules installed on the rooftop, including Huawei inverters. The 122.3 MWh/year of electricity produced by the plant and consumed by the customer can supply the electricity consumed annually by about 10 houses, representing a reduction of about 23 tons of CO2/year (about 565 tons of CO2 in the 25 years of the project’s lifespan). This reduction in emissions is equivalent to the annual capture of an area of 1.1 ha of forest.

Project Propecuária I 24 kWp
Propecuária is a reference in the veterinary pharmaceutical sector. The company was founded in 1979 and is located in Porto de Mós. This type of activity requires, in particular, cold chambers properly calibrated for the conditioning of immunological drugs (between 20C e 80C; e 80C e 150C).
Benefits of the Project
- solar power with 24 kWp
- estimated self-consumption of 38.3 MWh/an
- reduction of about 7 tonnes of CO2/year
Provided Service
SOLVasto has designed and installed a turnkey PV plant in UPAC regime (self-consumption) in its recently inaugurated facilities. It is estimated that almost 100% of the energy produced (38.3 MWh/year) is self-consuming, avoiding its purchase from the grid.
The installation consists of 92 polycrystalline photovoltaic modules, installed in the rooftop, using Huawei´s inverter. The 38.3 MWh/year of electricity produced by the plant and consumed by the customer can supply the electricity consumed annually by about 10 houses, representing a reduction of about 7 tons of CO2/year (about 175 tons of CO2 in the 25 years of the project’s lifespan). This reduction in emissions is equivalent to the annual capture of a forest area of 0.34 ha.
