In 2020, De Heus contracted SOLVasto for the project of two solar photovoltaic plants for its facilities in Trofa and Cartaxo, Portugal. Each self-consumption unit (UPAC) has a power of 315 kWp.

Services provided
Batalha Tempra Lda contracted SOLVasto to design the solar photovoltaic plant for its new factory. The self-consumption plant (UPAC) has a total power of 112.5 kWp, allowing to produce about 172.8 MWh/year.
The installation consists of 300 QCells 375 W modules and several Huawei brand inverters. The work was completed on 9 April 2020 by Redeforte, a partner of SOLVasto. Redeforte has more than 15 years experience and an installation volume of more than 20 MWp.

Together With SOLVasto, and in accordance with the legislation in force, Innoliva agreed on a project for the installation of 4 UPP (total sale to the grid) in total 1,1 MWp. SOLVasto, in addition to designing and licensing the project was commissioned to bring to the project an investor, who in less than a week approved the project.

Garcias, S.A. is a reference in the market for the distribution of food products, mainly wines and spirits, with more than 7,500 customers throughout the country, 400 suppliers and 200 distribution vehicles.
The systems were installed in 2018 at its facilities located in Alcochete, Algoz (Albufeira) and Funchal, generating around 227.4 MWh/year, with an estimated self-consumption of 179.1 MWh (79%), which allows a reduction of around 41% in network consumption.

SOLVasto was entrusted with the development, engineering and procurement of a third-party entity that invested in this UPP project (feed-in-tariff), in the well-known restaurant “O Teodósio” of “Frango à Guia” in Albufeira/Algarve.
Most of the 674 polycrystalline modules were installed in carport, using Huawei inverters.
It was estimated that the plant can produce 304.4 MWh/year, enough energy to supply the electricity consumed annually by 75 houses, representing a reduction of more than 56 tons of CO2/year (about 1,400 tons of CO2 in the 25 years of the lifespan of of the equipment). This reduction emissions is equivalent to the annual capture of CO2 from a forest area of 2.7 ha.
